Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Children’s Specialized. In this role you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication. You will apply evidence-based therapeutic approaches to enhance communication skills, social interaction, and overall quality of life for individuals receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. The SLP will also assist psychologists by administering developmental and autism focused assessments that help inform diagnostic impressions for autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys assessment work, values collaboration, and wants to contribute specialized communication expertise to autism evaluations. Responsibilities include administering standardized tools, scoring, documenting and contributing to integrated evaluation reports.

We have EI centers in: Jackson, Clifton, Newark, and Princeton. You'd be place at one or two of these!

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 annually. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and experience equity.

Qualifications

Skills And Competencies

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Experience conducting ADOS, CARS and autism diagnostics under the supervision of a psychologist.

Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

2+ years of experience in language development, speech sound disorders, and feeding/oral motor skills preferred.

2+ years of experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) preferred.

2+ years of experience working with children with ASD.

Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Ability to manage a caseload effectively.
