Description
We are seeking several dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists to join our team. In this role, you will treat individuals with speech, language, fluency, and voice disorders in the school setting. You will collaborate closely with special education staff, directors, and general education teachers. An AAC team is available to support students requiring augmentative and alternative communication systems. This position does not include evaluations, allowing you to focus on robust, effective therapy and due process responsibilities.
This district implements the 3:1 service delivery model, ensuring time for make-up sessions and completion of indirect work. Direct and indirect time is paid at the same rate. You’ll also benefit from working in a district with a large, supportive SLP team that meets regularly for collaboration.
This district is located in the North Metro area of Minneapolis.

Schedule
There is some autonomy and flexibility, espeically with indirect time, but of course providers are expected to be working during school hours when the students are present. Indirect time can be completed anytime if it's reasonable (paperwork in evenings, weekends, etc but no IEP meetings during those times of course). Specific hours worked for both direct and indirect tasks will need to be well documented.

Productivity Requirements
There are no productivity requirements. The District uses a 3:1 model, which means SLPs typically provide 3 weeks of therapy followed by 1 week of no therapy, to allow time for indirect tasks to be completed (ie MA billing, progress reports, IEP meetings, make up sessions, etc).
