The “Short and Sweet” Email

Are you on a first-name basis with your boss? Copy and paste this message to them.

I found out that The Informed SLP, a research-based continuing education resource I love, offers discounted team memberships for workplaces. The “Formal Request” Email

Step 3: Get a referral bonus

If your workplace secures a team membership, we pay you a referral bonus. Tell us who you are, so we can get in touch when your employer purchases a team membership. More eligibility details below.

Terms and Conditions

  • A group membership for at least 10 SLPs makes you eligible for a $300 referral bonus. Groups of 5-10 SLPs may still participate for a referral bonus of $75.
  • To receive a referral bonus, the group must be new and not an existing group.
  • One referral bonus per group. In most instances, we'll pay only one referral bonus per group. We determine which person is to be paid out by: the date you enter your information with us and the person your supervisor indicates referred them to TISLP.
  • Method of payment: You’ll be mailed a check at the address you entered above. We'll also email you when the group closes and the check is sent to you!
  • Time of payment: You’ll be paid when your group fully closes (pays for their membership). Note that some workplaces pay quickly, but some take up to 3-4 months to send us a check. If your workplace is one of the slower ones, you may have to wait!
