
Kazlin Mason is a writer for The Informed SLP. Dr. Mason has practiced clinically across hospital-based inpatient, NICU, and outpatient settings and specializes in voice and resonance disorders and cleft palate/craniofacial anomalies. Her research focuses on improving communication outcomes and quality of life across diverse clinical populations using advanced imaging techniques and predictive computer modeling. Recent work has focused on the anatomical foundations for successful surgical and speech outcomes in children with velopharyngeal dysfunction.
