SLPs will work school hours Monday—Friday, typically 35 hours per week.

There may be additional hours spent outside of regular hours for documentation or IEP/ARD meetings as needed.

SLPs will spend no more than 30 hours providing direct therapy on their campuses each week. The remaining work time may be spent off-campus, including on meetings, documentation, report writing, etc. SLPs will not spend more than 85% of their working hours on direct tasks (therapy, evaluations).

Ability to engage with a diverse population, strong interpersonal relationship skills and collaborative abilities with teachers, staff, students, and parents. Ability to self-manage daily and weekly tasks and projects, therapies, documentation, and communications.

ASHA CCCs Required: No
State Licenses Required: Texas
Additional Qualifications: At least 1 year of pediatric experience, ideally in a school-based setting. Willingness to travel to the assigned school location(s). No virtual therapy. Virtual for ARD and meetings only.
