    Description

    Provide speech services on site at ABA clinics in/near Fayetteville and Riverdale, Georgia. Help families by providing services on location where they are already taking their child. 1 on 1 therapy for 30 minutes at a time, generally twice a week. Apply modern evidence-based treatment in an environment already setup for treating children with Autism and other developmental disabilities.

    Median Pay and Range

    Dependent on # of billable hours preferred/worked.

    $90,000 – $170,000; (25 hrs x 50 weeks x $75/hr) to (30 hrs x 50 weeks x $110/hr)

    Full Pay Rate for All Hours Worked?

    • Paid for direct time only (per billable hour).
    • However, billable hour pay factors in non-treatment time responsibilities: documentation/notes, family contact, schedule coordination.
    • Cancellation fees are 100% paid to SLP, when applicable.
    • Higher rates for evaluations.
    • Per SLP preference, we consider 20–30 billable hours to equate to around 40 total hours of effort.

    Client Availability and Impact on Pay

    Medicare/caid legally cannot be charged a cancellation fee. But if they are under an insurance that allows for it, 100% of the cancellation fee goes to the SLP.

    Pay Rate Determiners

    Pay rate is determined by a combination of education/credentials, experience, and personality factors. Experience with pediatric/adolescent autism or ABA therapy is a plus, Floortime certifications a huge bonus. We are looking for someone who will stay and grow with the business, with pay growing accordingly.

    Benefits

    Because we are a young company we currently do not offer benefits. We are looking to provide health insurance at a very subsidized to no cost to the employee but likely not available by starting date due to small business eligibility. 

    Stipends (taxed)

    Bonus contingent on business performance.

    Reimbursements (untaxed)

    Ad-hoc, willing to discuss reimbursing for materials with prior approval, and continuing education.

    Annual turnover rate for SLPs (last 12 months): Currently only SLP is the owner. You would be our first employee!

    Schedule

    Flexible per SLP preference. Generally we would expect for certain days of the week to be chosen as treatment days and others as paperwork days. Hours are generally available weekdays between 8am-6pm, again flexible to SLPs preference.

    Occasional paid 1 on 1 time with owner/lead SLP, quarterly/yearly reviews.

    Skills And Competencies

    The following would be nice to have, but not required: Autism focus, including training in Floortime, Certified Autism Specialist, Social Thinking, Meaningful Speech, etc.

    Additional Qualifications: Reliable transportation. Physical ability to handle children who do not always have control over their actions.

    Work environment and physical requirement

    Treatment is done on-site at existing therapy centers (generally ABA clinics). Non-billable hours are hybrid. All notes can be done at SLP location of choice. Telehealth also available, which can be done remotely. 1 on 1s done remotely or in person at SLP preference.
