Description

Jennifer Eigen, SLP is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our private practice in Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn, beginning September 2026.
 

Our practice provides individualized speech and language services to toddlers through adolescents in a supportive, collaborative, and child-centered environment. We are looking for a motivated, creative, and experienced SLP who enjoys working closely with children and families and is passionate about providing thoughtful, individualized care.
 

The SLPs on our team collaborate to provide a supportive environment resulting in opportunities for ongoing clinical growth and mentorship. Direct supervision is provided.

Depends on the size of the caseload and number of hours worked

Full Pay Rate for All Hours Worked?

Pay is based on billable time (ie direct treatment time with clients).

 

Unpaid time includes non-billable hours (notes, supervision meetings), and client cancellations with advanced notice.

Client Availability and Impact on Pay

We anticipate a ramp up period for the first few months, but there are children waiting for services.

Schedule

We are looking for SLPs with availability after 3pm, to work between 4—12 hours a week

Productivity Requirements

There are no productivity requirements for part-time clinicians. Pay is based on billable hours.

Caseload Cap

Number of clients seen is based on your scheduled hours. During the times you are available, clients are typically scheduled back-to-back. Most clients receive 30-45min session, with a few receiving 60min sessions.

Qualifications

Skills And Competencies

  • PROMPT training is encouraged but not required
  • Experience working with pediatric clients
  • Experience with pediatric feeding is encouraged but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with families and colleagues
  • Interest in motor speech disorders
