Clinical Fellows (CF): $66–$100/hour ($55 clinic rate)
SLPs: $75–$130/hour ($65 clinic rate)
(Based on setting, location, and experience)

For school (DOE) placements, the schedule varies from part time to full time placements. Early Intervention makes their own schedule. Schedules are very flexible at our agency, providers usually make their own based on their school assignment. 

Possibly IEP meetings, but they are paid.

NYS sick leave

Federal holidays off at the schools. 

The maximum number of hours an SLP would work in a week is 35 hours, but this additionally includes documentation time.

As per NYS rules, it is 65 but rarely providers have that many. Caseload assignments are guided by provider preferences. We collaborate closely with each provider to understand their desired workload and align those preferences with the needs of our school partners.

• Proficient in conducting standardized and informal evaluations
• Ability to write clear, comprehensive reports aligned with DOE or Early Intervention expectations
• Design and implement effective therapy plans 
• Ability to tailor therapy to IEP goals and student-specific needs
• Competence in writing measurable, educationally relevant goals
• Familiarity with SESIS or similar school-based platforms for documentation
• Ability to manage caseloads, therapy schedules, and documentation deadlines efficiently
• Maintain accurate daily session notes, progress reports, and required compliance documentation
• Work effectively with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and paraprofessionals
• Sensitivity to diverse linguistic, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds

State licenses: NY

CCCs required: Yes

Other required qualifications: TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities)—Required for school-based placements
