Description

At Crotched Mountain School, you won’t simply treat speech and language disorders—you’ll help children with severe neurodevelopmental and intellectual disabilities communicate their needs, express emotions, build relationships, and experience greater independence by unlocking their true potential.

Our students have some of the most complex communication needs in New England. Many are non-speaking or minimally speaking, rely on AAC, require 1:1 support, and may communicate through challenging behaviors. Each day brings opportunities to uncover unmet communication needs and help students find safer, more effective ways to express themselves.

Here, you’ll be part of one of the few specialized programs equipped to rewrite their stories.

Why You’ll Love Working Here…
Nestled in New Hampshire’s beautiful Monadnock region, Crotched Mountain offers a therapeutic, adventure-based environment with trails, lakes, an Olympic-sized pool, media center, bowling alley, and panoramic library.

Seven Hills is revitalizing this historic program—expanding services, welcoming new students, and building a passionate team making extraordinary things possible for youth with neurodevelopmental disabilities.

Pay Rate Determiners

The rate criteria is highly dependent on years of experience and in some cases experience with our particular population. If we have someone coming in that is a brand new SLP able to practice without supervision we usually pay between $100-105k. If the candidate has several years (2+ minimum), we will usually pay at the highest end of the rate scale. If someone has great experience with severe and profound neurodevelopmental disabilities/primarily autism and non-speaking individuals through personal experience, or prior to licensing in speech or other roles, we will always push for a higher rate.
