Comprehensive Dysphagia Diagnostic Care (CDX Care) is a specialized mobile dysphagia diagnostics company providing onsite Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) services to post-acute care providers and healthcare organizations using portable diagnostic technology. By bringing advanced swallowing diagnostics directly to patients in their care setting, we improve access to care, reduce transportation barriers, and deliver timely, high-quality clinical services.

We are seeking a clinically driven Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in the Livonia area. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced physicians and clinicians while providing diagnostic swallowing evaluations that directly impact patient outcomes and quality of life.


The ideal candidate is passionate about dysphagia management, values collaboration, and enjoys working independently while serving as a clinical resource for facility staff and interdisciplinary teams.

Clinician with 5 years experience or less would be on the lower end of the pay range. 6+ years experience would be moving up as well as the frequency of MBS completion per week.

Schedule

20—25 hours per week. Work hours are generally 8am—4:30pm. This would be a two- or three- days per week position. The days could be flexible but would like them to be consistent each week as much as possible.

PTO

PTO is available for part-time employees and is calculated as a percentage of your FTE. The percentage is taken of 2 weeks to determine PTO. Sick Days are provided if required by state law.

Holidays

Unpaid holidays are: New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day. Holidays are unpaid, but can work an alternate day to make up if needed.

Productivity Requirements

The general productivity is 4 studies per day but this is dependent on the scheduling team/referrals. Less than a 3 study day would be cancelled and moved to another day to ensure efficiency.

CDX Care does not provide a separate paid parental-leave benefit. Employees may use available PTO or other paid benefits when allowed, and the Company will provide any unpaid or paid leave required by law.

Leave may be available for pregnancy, childbirth, recovery, bonding after birth, adoption, foster placement, or other qualifying family needs. Pregnancy-related accommodations are handled separately from ordinary time-off requests and may include schedule changes, temporary duty changes, breaks, equipment, or leave when required.

Notify your director/manager or the COO as early as practical so the Company can explain available leave, pay, benefits, and return-to-work arrangements.

Additional state or local leave may apply to pregnancy, childbirth, bonding, adoption, foster placement, pregnancy loss, neonatal care, or other family needs. CDX Care will provide those rights when applicable.

Qualifications

Skills And Competencies

  • Experience performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS/MBSS) required
  • Experience evaluating and treating dysphagia in adult and geriatric populations required
  • Ability to report to the Livonia office location
  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule

ASHA CCCs Required: Yes
State Licenses Required: Michigan
Additional Qualifications: Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required, or ability to obtain prior to start date

We are a mobile company. We complete our work in SNFs, IRFs, and in our transport van.
